Now, no one would have ever thought the world needed a collaboration between the captivating Sabrina Carpenter and the head trendsetter herself, Coi Leray… However, the Nonsense (Remix) is a pure diamond. Released Thursday (Mar. 23), the two deliver a bubbly, fun-filled Pop&B banger that infiltrates your mind and heart immediately on the first listen. Sabrina’s seductive charm radiates from beginning to end flawlessly. Her airy vocals and witty lyricism/delivery are reminiscent of Billie Eilish, Ariana grande, and even Taylor Swift. Nevertheless, Sabrina makes a lane solely for herself that feels just right for her. Coi lays down a quick sharpshooting verse complimenting the song’s sweet-yet-bad girl appeal as she flows about having a guy fall deeply for her in just a concise amount of time.
Again, the pairing of Coi Leray and Sabrina Carpenter is oh-so random but it is usually in the most unexpected things that bring out the best moments and Nonsense Remix is one of those very moments. Nonsense comes from Carpenter’s fifth studio album, 2022’s Emails I Can’t Send.
The young pop princess recently released the Deluxe Edition, Emails I Can’t Send Fwd on Friday (Mar. 17). Sabrina is also embarking on the second leg of her “Emails I Can’t Send” Tour in North America before taking the action overseas in the summer.
As for Coi Leray, the young trendsetter has been generating huge numbers with her infectious, viral single, “Players.” Following a number of mixes and variations, Coi’s latest collaboration recruits the legendary Busta Rhymes for their DJ Sage remix to the hit record, released on Friday (Mar 24).
