Rico Nasty Goes "HARD" in new Single and Video
Updated: Nov 3, 2020
Our favorite Hip-Hop rockstar is back and she's making it clear everything she does is... HARD! Released Thursday (Dec. 5), Rico delivers yet another memorable trap rock anthem with "Hard." Over bass-booming production by Take a Daytrip, Rico chants throughout the 3 minute song all of the exact reasons that she is the baddest in the game. In usual Rico fashion, she shouts about her wealth, her style, and her status.
"These b*tches mad cause I go hard Ready, set, I got on Goyard Chains on my belt, I’m a rockstar Don’t need ID, I use face card These n*ggas dig me like a graveyard I work hard so I get to play hard"
Visually, Rico takes watchers on a trip in Vegas. We travel with the DMV native in a flashy Lamborghini as she rips and runs the Vegas streets. The Reel Goats-directed video then takes us from the streets to Rico's luxury hotel room where watchers are greeted by a glowing Rico bedside with an abundance of pancakes, burgers, and her dog. Comfortably wrapped in her robe and expensive jewelry, Rico leaves her foot on the gas and goes full throttle as she reminds the lames and haters that they simply will never be on her level.
"B*tch I come from nothin’, every day I’m stuntin’ I know you ain’t got this, bought it out the country Money don’t mean nothin’, get it like it’s double If we get into it, you know you in trouble"
"Hard" follows after Rico's "Time Flies" and "Fashion Week," a string of singles the rapper released to feed her fans while they await her debut album, which, according to a press release, is said to to be releasing in the new year. Rico's 2019 has been very busy as the young star released a joint project, Anger Management with friend and producer, Kenny Beats. In 2018, she released her debut project, Nasty.
With eyes set on 2020, "Hard" is a clear and blatant reminder that Rico's presence is here to stay and that she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. 2020 is looking bright for Ms. Rico Nasty!
