Megan Thee Stallion Taps Beyoncé for Official "Savage" Remix

Updated: Nov 3, 2020

On this lovely, sunny, quarantined Wednesday, two Houston Hot Girls decided, "Hey, let's shake the world up." If you're thinking what I'm thinking, you're correct. Megan Thee Stallion and none other than the Queen herself, Beyoncé, have released their official remix to the sensational, Tik Tok viral hit, "Savage!"

Completely refreshing the song, both Meg and Bey deliver entirely new energy to the track. Bringing the melodious background vocals, theatrical execution, and braggadocios bars, Queen Bey sets the pace with a haunting low-tone before Meg delivers brand-new, hard-hitting verses (that strike even more than the original bars). Megan reminds her haters that she's still that girl and like the finest of wines, she's only getting better.

"Queen B, want no smoke with me (Okay)

Then turn this motherf**ker up eight hundred degree

Team eat, chef's kiss, she's a treat

Oh, she so bougie, bougie, bon appetite."

Keeping her foot full-throttle on the gas, Beyoncé floats over the entire beat rapping about topics ranging from TikTok and Only Fans, to her blessed and highly favored (real) assets. She embodies Meg's lyrics of "Classy, Bougie, Ratchet," as she goes off about her wealth, her gang, and her status. She adds a level of extra-ness that just takes the song to higher level than even TikTok could (in my opinion). Some may not like it, but this song clearly isn't for them. As the song continues, Bey raises her price and reminds the world where her savagery originated.

"Please don't get me hype (I'm hype), write my name in ice (Ice)

Can't argue with these lazy b*tches, I just raised my price

I'm a boss, I'm a leader, I pull up in my two-seater

And my momma was a savage, think I got this sh*t from Tina."

The remix comes after rumors started swirling on social media that Bey and The Stallion were working together. If the remix wasn't good enough for you, there is even greater news; All of the proceeds from the official remix will go towards Covid-19 relief efforts at Bread of Life, an organization in Houston. While only being out for a couple of hours, the song is already No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. Megan has been working hard and the price just went up even more.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Megan took to social media to share her immense gratitude for the opportunity to work with Bey.

Congratulations, Meg!
